FLOOD RELIEF

We're a community like no other!

First came the drought, then the bushfires, a pandemic, and now the floods: many residents throughout our beautiful Mid Coast have copped a devastating succession of crises over the past few years.

As the clean up and rebuild begins across our community many have been wondering, “How can I help?”

The good news is that if you’re in a position to help out those affected by the crisis, there’s plenty of ways you can pitch in – every dollar counts.

Donations will be received by FireHawk Systems Pty Ltd, a Love Taree committee member and forwarded to Love Taree.

LOVE TAREE STORIES

Taree locals love where they live. They love no traffic jams. They love their river, their beaches, their mountains, their community, their culture, their great schools, their lower housing prices and higher standard of living. They also love their thriving business community and fantastic career opportunities.

They love Taree and you will too.

Taree is not just a great place to live, it’s a great place to work, a great place to do business, a great place to raise a family, a great place to educate your family, a great place to start a business and a great place to grow a business.

Hear some of our ‘Love Taree’ stories and be a part of the Taree community. We’d love you to.

COMMUNITY

Our town’s name Taree comes from the Aboriginal word Djarii, meaning Figtree. Djarii is pronounced the same as ‘Taree’ and you’ll see plenty of our big fig trees along the river and throughout our town. Taree is situated on the banks of the Manning River in the heart of the beautiful Manning Valley.

Our lifestyle is the envy of many — you can surf, hike, horse ride, fish, ride, row, swim or paddle board every morning and comfortably make it to work without the traffic or congestion. With a population of over 26,000, Taree is a thriving regional hub where the locals love where they live.
